Italian Short Film Night - Wellington

Bonjourno amici! The best new Italian short films are here. Show Me Shorts and the Embassy of Italy invite you to our annual celebration of bite-size cinema Italiano style. The films have been curated in collaboration with Amarcort Film Festival. 

1. A woman tries to hustle her family together to take a portrait in La Foto Perfetta (The Perfect Photo), but it's not so easy.
2. In Chiusi Alla Luce (Closed to the Light) the camera and sound effects take us inside a frozen snapshot of a dramatic farmyard scene during WWII.
3. Extortion and layers of family trust and betrayal are exposed in the dramatic Destinata Coniugi Lo Giglio (Intended for Lo Giglio Spouses).
4. 68.415 is a dystopian sci-fi film set in a world where eating may solve the world's problems.
5. An unusual friendship develops in Deeper than the Skin, when two men meet in a doctor's office awaiting a diagnosis.
6. Things go awry when a group of women throw an unwanted  bachelorette party in the comedic Bailabamba.
