Junior Procreate Beginners Course September 2023
Event description
Do you want to learn how to create digital art?
Young artists (and Hub Cadets) Rosie and Georgie are passionate self-taught users of Procreate, with previous experience of tutoring others. Rosie has been using Procreate to create digital art for the past 6 years, and in this time she's created content for Instagram, websites and school projects, and she'd love to get other kids involved too! This 2-session course is aimed at students in grades 5-12 (or younger if they completed a previous Procreate Basics course with Rosie or are confident with their basic Procreate skills). The focus of this course will be on creating full blown art works and animations using the many intricate features of this powerful app. The course will also include some artistic basics such as palette composition.
MUST BRING: iPad with Procreate app installed (running iPad iOS 13.2 or later), plus a compatible Apple pencil or tablet stylus (note:
Procreate app is currently not available for Android devices). A tablet stylus can be purchased from Officeworks, Big W and other retailers - just check the stylus is compatible with your generation of iPad.
The 2-Day course will run from 9am-12 noon on the 28th & 29th of September 2023 at the Peregian Digital Hub.
