With Sarah Williams (CISO, Fusion5) and Alistair Vickers (CIO, Horizon Energy)

Join us at The Roastery Espresso Bar on Friday 6 November at 8:15am for our next KāpitiTech meetup, where we'll explore the cybersecurity risks facing founders, tech workers and professionals.

Cybersecurity is becoming one of the most complex challenges facing tech founders, business leaders and professionals. With increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks, AI-driven threats and constantly evolving risks, staying ahead is harder than ever.

From protecting sensitive data and intellectual property to securing systems, managing third-party risks and maintaining customer trust, the stakes are high.

We'll be joined by two of Kāpiti's tech leaders who will share their perspectives on the changing cybersecurity landscape, the threats to be aware of, and the practical steps founders, businesses and tech professionals can take to better protect themselves.

What we'll cover:

The emerging cyber threats and risks facing tech businesses and professionals.
Common vulnerabilities and mistakes that can leave businesses exposed.
What tech founders and growing teams should prioritise when it comes to cybersecurity.
Practical advice on managing cyber risks and building greater resilience.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and connect with other members of the tech community.

Whether you're building a business, working in tech, running a business or simply interested in understanding today's cybersecurity challenges, we'd love to see you there.
