Kin Kin Community Sports Program - Term 2, 2024

Kin Kin Community Group is pleased to bring  League Tag to Kin Kin this term for a 8 week program. This is an ALL AGES program from juniors to adults,  to connect community through Sport. This is a FREE community program with thanks to our KKCG volunteers and term 2 supporters; your local Rugby League Club Pomona Cooran Cutters and NRL Game Development team and Noosa Council. 

All term 2 participants will need to pre-register here, before they can play on the field. [Please note: You only need to register once for the term! All past sports participants will need to register again for this new term of NRL].

The Kin Kin Community Group will have the canteen open for sign on and serving refreshments and we will open sometimes for food however, back by popular demand, we have Dhom Food Truck in town most Wednesdays for some delicious dinner options available for families and ALL in the community to join in. We will have free water again, please ensure that your children bring their water bottles.

So come down, say hello, have some FUN, FITNESS, and FOOD NIGHT ! ... And don't forget to bring a rug to sit on the sideline and make it an enjoyable mid-week social, community night for all.

PROGRAM AND TIMING

Please arrive 10 minutes before your age group time below for registration and make sure you TICK YOUR NAME OFF (Sign On) before going on the field:

• 5-7 Years – Skills and Learning - Start Time: 4.15pm til 4:45pm
• 8 - 11/12 Years – Skills and Learning + Games  -Start Time: 4.50pm til 5:20pm
• Open 12+ Years to Social Adults – Skills and Learning + Games - Start Time: 5.25pm til 6:00pm
• Open -  Adults  Warm up + Games - Start Time: 6:00pm ( on demand ) 

PARENTS / PARTICIPANT ROSTER

Like any other Clubs to keep the games going and canteen open it relies on community and volunteers pitching in on a roster. This term we are asking each participant to have a turn for at least one week on a roster system. Please all help when you can -  with set up and stowing away of Marquees, chairs and rugs every week. Please express your interest to where you can help on a roster  (you can nominate your preferred area on registration form): in the canteen, BBQ cook, first aider, set up/pack down, sign on desk or on the field support. Thank you for your support! 

Also a friendly reminder to keep an eye on your child/ren. Please don't just drop your kids off, if you can't be there make sure an adult is responsible to supervise and watch over your child/ren.

We will email for any important information. If weather affects the program an announcement will be put out on our What's On in Kin Kin Community Facebook group, make sure you have joined the group.
