Unite is our membership course for Kingscross. Typically held twice yearly, Unite is designed to provide a deep dive into Gospel centrality and what it means to be a member at Kingscross. Unite is free to attend.

Who is the Unite course for?

Unite is for anyone who has made the decision to make Kingscross their home and become a member of our church family. Completing Unite is one of the prerequisites of Kingscross membership. Other prerequisites include regular attendance at Kingscross gatherings and baptism. If you are new to Kingscross, please feel welcome to start a conversation with an elder or church leader to discuss what the full journey to membership looks like. 

What does Unite involve? 

Unite is an interactive workshop style course structured around three sessions. Sessions include an introduction to Kingscross, defining Gospel centrality and why we value it so highly, Kingscross values and vision, and an overview of pastoral care strategies. The workshop is hosted by Kingscross elders. 

Is there anything I need to prepare prior to doing Unite? 

Once you sign up for Unite, you will be provided with a copy of our Unite booklet to read through before the course. This includes a short workbook to complete. Please allow sufficient time to read and complete the workbook. 

Where is Unite held? 

Unite is held at Kingscross Church, 325 Barker Rd, Subiaco. 

What should I bring on the day? 

Please bring an open heart and willingness to share about how God has shaped your journey to Kingscross. We will provide morning tea and lunch. If you have dietary requirements, please let us know so we can cater accordingly. 

What happens once I complete the Unite Course? 

Once you have completed the Unite Course successfully, you can express interest in becoming a member. If you are interested in membership two members of Kingscross will sit down with you to have a personal conversation around your interest and answer any remaining questions. New members will be welcomed at the next Kingscross membership meeting. Excluding special member meetings, standard member meetings are held quarterly each year.
