Learn Sumi-e An Introduction to Japanese Ink Drawing

Japanese Ink Drawing
Under the direction of Michiyo you will learn the techniques of Sumi-e in a fun and create way taking inspiration for the Australian Bush. You will produce some greeting card throughout the morning. There will be opportunity to choose other working backgrounds like rich textured paper and small works on canvas should you want to do have something more permanent to hang.
This is a hands on workshop is for any skill level.
Participants may choose to register for both sessions (Saturday and Sunday morning) you must register for each session you wish to attend.

Apron and closed in shoes
Pen and paper for note taking
Paper you may want to test and use
There will be a selection of paper and cards that you can purchase (these are not included in your workshop fee due to varying cost of some of the unique paper) You will need cash for these. We recommend up to $20 for additional purchases

Morning tea/coffee/milk and biscuits is supplied
(we have a Nespresso coffee pod machine if you would like to bring your own pods)
