Qualified Charitable Distributions

presented by Fairview Capital

Join us for an informative and insightful talk on smart ways you can reduce your taxes and simultaneously support meaningful charities that are having a positive impact in the community.

A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows individuals aged 70 1/2 or older to donate up to $108,000 annually from their IRA directly to a qualified charity, potentially reducing their taxable income and fulfilling their Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). This strategy can be particularly beneficial for those in higher tax brackets, as it can lower adjusted gross income (AGI) and potentially reduce taxes on Social Security benefits, among other things.

Fairview Capital is a private capital investments firm, specifically in venture capital and private equity, and also provides services related to GP-led secondary solutions. They manage over $10 billion in assets and work with institutional investors such as pension plans, endowments, and foundations.
