Event description

Join Laurel House's Harmful Sexualised Behaviours Senior Counsellor and Disability Project Lead to discuss how you can recognise and respond to harmful sexual behaviours with a focus on young people with disability. 

Discussions will include:

  • what constitutes harmful sexual behaviours in young people
  • some strategies for reducing or addressing these
  • applying a disability lens 
  • sharing ideas and resources to support discussing these tricky topics with young people with disability and their caregivers.

This event is presented free of charge as part of Laurel House's SAAM (Sexual Assault Awareness Month) activities.

Tea, coffee and afternoon tea will be provided.
