Life Drawing & Writing - The Ritual of Courage
Women-only | Led by Artist & Psychotherapist Eleanor Ysabelle
An intimate gathering of bodies, gaze, earth, and words. A final session; a performative life drawing and reflective writing experience where observation becomes an act of presence. The body that poses and the body that draws enter into a quiet dialogue. We look, we feel, we make.
This women-only gathering is an invitation to participate in a culture of seeing and being seen. To sit with the unfamiliar, to study the human form, to encounter our own bodies through the presence of another.
Our theme is COURAGE.
What does it mean to embody courage? What might we recognise in another that we have yet to permit in ourselves?
Together, we make room for the things we have not yet tried, the selves we have not yet met, and the possibility of becoming.
Our muse this time, is my dear friend Hilary Green, the mother of Shell Space, our meeting place. Hilary will be adorned in earth material, posing for the first time.
