This Sonic Sundays we present #1 on the iTunes Alt Album charts, Soulful blues, & country singer-songwriter PIPER

Celebrating summer with a bang, we are shouting a free gig for Sonic Sundays with the one and only Piper.

Piper has shared the stage with renowned acts like Kasey Chambers, Diesel, and Casey Donovan, and performed at major festivals such as Dashville Skyline, Thredbo Blues Festival, and the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Moruya Blues & Roots Festival and West Best Bloc Fest in addition to being a Top 24 Finalist on Australian Idol. Piper Butcher is a soulful singer-songwriter from the Hunter Valley who captivates audiences with her powerful vocals and stage presence.

In 2021, Piper's debut EP September reached #1 on the iTunes Alternative Album charts, solidifying her as a rising star. Her follow-up singles, including "Unconscious Mind," further showcased her talent, debuting at #2 on the Singer-Songwriter iTunes Charts and holding strong on the AMRAP Regional Charts.

Piper’s music has also been featured on TV, amassing a diverse fanbase. In 2024, she was a Grand Finalist in the Bluesfest Busking Competition, earning a performance slot at Byron Bay Bluesfest.

As an Ambassador for Operation Smile Australia, her advocacy is personal, reflecting her own journey born with a cleft palate. With influences like Stevie Nicks and Miley Cyrus, Piper’s performances are dynamic and emotional, whether with a full band or as a solo act. Keep an eye out for her new releases—her musical journey is just beginning.
