Mana Taiohi Wānanga (Ōtautahi)

Do you or your organistion use physical activity to engage with rangatahi? Then this FREE training is for you! Nau mai, haere mai. Come and learn about the Mana Taiohi principles for positive youth development and plan how you might bring them to life through your mahi.

This learning and development opportunity is aimed at outdoor instructors, recreation advocates, sports coaches and administrators, kaiako – anyone one who is passionate about the role of physical activity to support young people!

This FREE wānanga is brought to you through a partnership between Ara Taiohi and Sport NZ Ihi Aotearoa, with support from Sport Canterbury. The morning will focus on introducing the eight interwoven principles that make up Mana Taiohi; and the afternoon will be an opportunity for you to plan how you might bring those principle to life when working with or for rangatahi.
