A masterclass intensive presenting an opportunity to learn techniques to accurately match any observed colour using oil paints. Enhance your skills through applied colour theory with the techniques utilised by Juan Ford in his daily studio practice.
With extensive experience teaching painting conservation to students at the University of Melbourne, Juan with begin the masterclass with an engaging history lecture providing you with a deeper understanding of colour theory, its practical applications, and the evolution of colour usage in art. Guided exercises will follow enabling you to practice matching observed colours, providing you with the knowledge and skills to achieve colour precision in your paintings.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to avoid late starts and allow time to find an all-day carpark.
