Math Workshop for CSV Volunteers at All Grade Levels (K–12) SY24-25
Event description
Please join us for an interactive Math workshop that will help new and experienced tutors understand how to engage students in mathematical thinking, build confidence, and develop problem solving skills.
After attending this workshop, tutors will be able to:
- Reflect on the purposes and functions of relationship building and explore their own math
experiences and identity markers;
- Expand/refresh the repertoire of resources that support math learning.
Led by Marisa Berenbaum, Middle School Instructional Math Coach, Cambridge Street Upper School.
Open to volunteers at all grade levels (K-12)

Transportation and Parking: Cambridge Street Upper School is accessible by both bus and subway. There is metered parking on Cambridge St. and resident parking in the surrounding streets. The workshop will take place in the Multipurpose Room (Level 2W)
Please give yourself a little extra time to find parking and make your way up to the second floor. You will find the stairs straight ahead after you enter the front door of the school. An elevator is also available.
