Media Training Session
Event description
ANU Communications and Engagement (ACE) will hold a free general media training session on Tuesday 23 April, from 10.30am-12.30pm.
Consistently telling our stories and providing expert commentary in a wide array of media is essential to ensuring that ANU has high visibility with prospective students, funders and partners, and demonstrates our value to the wider community.
At the training, we'll take you through tips and tricks to make your research engaging and understandable to a general audience, work on identifying newsworthy angles and the approaches you can take to raise the profile of your research. The session will also cover advice for interviews, media releases and targeted approaches to media.
