This month, we are honored to feature Nick Canino, regenerative land-tender, systems thinker, and founder of Rhythm Seed Farm—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit urban farm committed to seed keeping, land restoration, and community education.

Nick has spent over a decade transforming urban landscapes into thriving food gardens, working closely with Black, Brown, and Indigenous farmers, food banks, and community farms across Portland. Through Rhythm Seed Farm, he stewards millions of locally adapted seeds and teaches how abandoned lots can be turned into lush, productive gardens in a single season. Nick’s work embodies revolutionary change, intergenerational knowledge sharing, and a deep commitment to restoring sovereignty through seeds and soil.

This gathering is more than a conversation—it's a chance to plant new ideas, share resources, and spark collaboration among farmers, artists, healers, builders, and visionaries.
