Mind Lounge | Pressed Flower Candle
Event description
Learn the art of flower pressing, and how to use your own pressed flowers to create beautiful candles. Rin will bring their extensive collection of pressed flowers for you to choose from and she will then show you how to create stunning candles. While you work, Rin will demonstrate the different methods of flower pressing and ways you can easily preserve your own flowers at home.
Rin Bun is a multi-media artist and educator. They have been facilitating art/craft workshops since 2026. Their other passions are gardens and nature. Rin is a disability and neurodivergence aware and friendly facilitator.
What to Expect:
- This is an opportunity for adults to try a new art or craft with the support of a professional artist and educator.
- It will begin with a short mindfulness activity to get you in the creative flow.
- There is no expectation that you will bring anything except a willingness to "have a go"!
- All experience levels welcome.
Post-Workshop Resources:
- Participants will be able to take home supplies to complete their project if they require more time.
