As artificial intelligence reshapes industries, investment decisions are becoming increasingly complex. Join us for an exclusive evening exploring how experienced technology entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders are evaluating opportunities, risks and long-term value creation in the AI era.
Hosted by Louis Quintal, Partner, RSM Australia and Nicolette Rubinsztein, Non-Executive Director, the evening will feature presentations from three ex- South Africans who combine tech capability with entrepreneurship and experience investing both personally and professionally. Sheron Sultan will be our special guest and Elfreda Jonker from Aphinity Investment Management will host the Q&A. All proceeds from the evening will go to support the Missionvale Care Centre in South Africa.

Speaker Bios
Trevor Gruzin | Former Senior Managing Director, Growth & Strategy, Accenture
Trevor recently transitioned from Accenture, where he held senior global and regional leadership roles spanning growth strategy, innovation, M&A, technology-led transformation and generative AI. He now advises and invests in start-ups and provides C-suite and board advisory services, drawing on extensive experience across consulting, banking and corporate strategy.
Richard Joffe | Serial Entrepreneur and Founder of Stella Jobs, Honey Insurance and Park Assist; Non-Executive Director, DroneShield
Richard is a three-time founder who has built and exited businesses in parking technology and HR software and went on to found Honey Insurance. Raised in an entrepreneurial family across South Africa and anada, he chose entrepreneurship over opportunities with McKinsey, Morgan Stanley and Harvard Business School.
Jonathan Rubinsztein | Former CEO of Nuix, Infomedia and Red Rock Consulting
Jonathan is a technology entrepreneur and former CEO who led major growth and transformation at ASX-listed Nuix and Infomedia, including rebuilding Nuix from a distressed business and significantly increasing its market value. He was also CEO and a founding shareholder of UXC Red Rock Consulting and brings deep experience in strategy, sales, M&A, alliances and executive leadership.
Elfreda Jonker | Client Portfolio Manager, Alphinity Investment Management
Elfreda works closely with Alphinity’s investment teams and Fidante’s Business Development team to provide investment insights and support Alphinity’s growing client base. A qualified Chartered Accountant, she previously held senior roles at Talaria Capital and Deutsche Bank Equities South Africa, worked at Goldman Sachs in New York and began her career at Deloitte South Africa.
Sheron Sultan | Founder of Yatimba!
Born in South Africa and now based in Sydney, Sheron Sultan is the founder of Yatimba! a student wellbeing and rhythmic movement program that delivers engaging workshops in schools across NSW. Inspired by her own experience adapting to life in a new country, she is passionate about helping young people build resilience, confidence, leadership and a sense of belonging.
