Make a spring visit to the delightful house and gardens of Mungo Park (Neil and Judy's place in Newlyn North) to catch up with the outstanding duo Evan & Mischa. Hailing from Malmsbury, and brought up in the music scenes of Melbourne and Canberra, these two extraordinary young players have been on the festival circuit since they were kids. Their music is a mix of traditional and original tunes, with intense connection and interwoven with humour. Together they explore traditional Celtic and associated music styles combining flute, accordion, guitar, whistles and banjo in unexpected and striking combinations. Their intricate arrangements of traditional tunes are complemented by a suite of their own original compositions.
