MusicNSW Social Club #4: Sydney

Vol. 4 of the MusicNSW Sydney Social Club is here – our series of real world meet ups for the people making the music happen.



The final installment for 2026 will see us partner with ONE OFF TRAKS to bring you a unique listening party experience. Celebrating the new world of Tone Shift, we’re asking women, trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming artists to submit their unreleased demos* to be previewed in full on the night. 

We’ll hear directly from the artists about the concepts and meaning behind their songs, the people they collaborated with, as well as their plans for finishing and releasing their songs. Taking place in Darlinghurst’s new hideout, Dead Set, this event will provide Sydney artists and industry folk with the opportunity to connect with their community, learn new tricks and tips of the trade, and celebrate some of the freshest new unreleased music coming from Sydney’s underground.

*Please note that we’re particularly keen to hear your unreleased DEMOS, so priority will be given to songs that aren’t fully mixed and mastered - show us a work-in-progress!

About ONE OFF TRAKS:
ONE OFF TRAKS is a songwriting camp and artist development program supporting women, trans, non-binary and gender-diverse artists across so-called Australia and Aotearoa, including takatāpui and fa’afafine creatives. Led by Jannah Beth and Minori Ueda, with artist ambassador Jamaica Moana, it brings songwriters and producers together to make music, exchange skills and build lasting creative relationships. Across five camps, the program has received more than 1000 applications, supported around 120 participants and generated approximately 260 songs and demos. In 2026, ONE OFF TRAKS presented alumni artists at SXSW London and delivered its first Auckland camp with Bigpop Studios, extending the community beyond its home at Offbeat Collective on Gadigal Land.
