Neurodivergence awareness training

Course Outline:

This session is an awareness raising course and is aimed at parents, carers and professionals working with Neurodiverse children and young people.
The session will be run by Barnardos Caern community team that aims to improve the knowledge, confidence and resilience.  We will look at the world through a neurodivergent perspective looking at ways to support families and young people and the challenges they face day to day. 

By the end of the session participants will have:

• an improved knowledge of Neurodiversity 

• improved confidence in supporting people who are neurodiverse

• more strategies to support children and young people and implement training into your service.
