Do stress and anxiety feel like constant obstacles in your daily life? Join Gustavo Coronel from UP Health Coaching for an insightful workshop designed to empower you with practical tools to manage stress, calm your mind, and improve your overall well-being.
This workshop is the second in a three-part series, in support of the Mentally Healthy WA Feelgood Feb campaign, and focuses on understanding the roots of stress and anxiety while providing accessible strategies to break free from their hold.
What to Expect:
- Stress and Anxiety Awareness: Gain valuable insights into how daily habits impact mental well-being and learn to identify and address stress triggers.
- Breaking the Anxiety Loop: Discover the power of RAIN—Recognize, Accept, Investigate, and Note—a practical technique to manage anxious thoughts and emotions effectively.
- Time Management for Mortals: Participate in a guided “To-Do List” exercise to prioritize tasks, clarify goals, and create a sense of accomplishment, reducing mental clutter.
- Desk Yoga: Learn a series of gentle stretches and mindful movements to release muscle tension, improve posture, and foster relaxation—even during a busy workday.
- Box Breathing: Practice a rhythmic breathing technique to quickly center your mind and cultivate calmness in any situation.
- Cold Plunge: Explore the benefits of cryotherapy and how brief exposure to cold can help reduce stress, inflammation, and enhance mental clarity.
Post-Workshop Resources:
Participants will leave with comprehensive materials summarising the techniques and practices discussed, empowering them to take actionable steps toward a healthier, happier life.
