Workshop: Managing Stress and Anxiety for a Balanced Life

This workshop is the second in a three-part series, in support of the Feelgood Feb campaign, organised by Act Belong Commit, and focuses on understanding the roots of stress and anxiety while providing accessible strategies to break free from their hold.

  • Breaking the Anxiety Loop: Discover the power of RAIN—Recognize, Accept, Investigate, and Note—a practical technique to manage anxious thoughts and emotions effectively.
  • Time Management for Mortals: Participate in a guided “To-Do List” exercise to prioritize tasks, clarify goals, and create a sense of accomplishment, reducing mental clutter.
  • Desk Yoga: Learn a series of gentle stretches and mindful movements to release muscle tension, improve posture, and foster relaxation—even during a busy workday.
  • Box Breathing: Practice a rhythmic breathing technique to quickly center your mind and cultivate calmness in any situation.
  • Cold Plunge: Explore the benefits of cryotherapy and how brief exposure to cold can help reduce stress, inflammation, and enhance mental clarity.

Post-Workshop Resources:

Participants will leave with comprehensive materials summarising the techniques and practices discussed, empowering them to take actionable steps toward a healthier, happier life.
