Welcome to Nooma Breathwork: Certified Trauma Informed Facilitation.

This down-to-earth 4 hour breathwork event will equip you with everything you need to ensure an incredible breathwork experience. Discover the transformative power of connecting to your inner voice in a truly embodied way through breathwork.
This intimate event is tailored for a maximum of ten individuals. Complimented with connective activities, experience the depths of your breath as you tap into your inner guidance and explore what boundaries feel like to you. If you're seeking deep healing, stress relief, inspiration and fresh creative energy in your life, this event is going to deliver it all, including a sustainable breathwork practice to use in your day to day life.

Meet your Facilitator
Hi, I’m Fiona, a proud mix of Irish and Yorkshire, born and raised in the North West of England. I’m a Certified Trauma Informed Owaken Breathwork Facilitator with a diverse lived experience and work background spanning social justice, crisis response, advocacy and social work. With over 25 years of professional expertise, I have supported thousands of people through personal change and wellness.
Owaken Breathwork
I am a certified Owaken Breathwork Facilitator and provided support to Lukis Mac and Helle Weston of Owaken Breathwork at their 2021 sold-out tour of New Zealand and Australia. I am also an Owaken Breathwork Support Coach, offering online guidance and support to Owaken Breathwork Facilitator Training students around the world. I recently joined Lukis and Helle and provided support on their 2024 Owaken Breathwork Tour of New Zealand Australia and am a proud member of the Owaken family. c
Clarity Breathwork
I am a certified Clarity Breathwork Facilitator and am also trained in wet (water) and dry breathwork sessions and rebirthing techniques.
Location
The Lotus Room at The Life Centre, 88 Jervois Road, Ponsonby.
Upon arrival, walk across the small carpark to your RHS as you enter. Go through the archway to the house at the rear. The Lotus Room is located upstairs.
Parking
Please park on the nearby streets and not in the car park at The Life Centre. Thank you!
Preparation for the workshop
- It is recommended that you have an early night the evening before and limit any alcohol and caffeine consumption at least 24hrs prior.
- It can be helpful to have a light breakfast at least 2 hours prior and be well hydrated before arriving at the event.
- You may want to wear loose layered clothes, anything that you are comfortable in and can move easily in.
Suggested items to bring
- A water bottle
- A journal and pen or device to write or record any notes/thoughts/insights
- A yoga mat or blanket to lie on
- Anything else that may support you during your breathwork experience eg personal or sentimental items (you will not be asked to share)
IMPORTANT: Contraindications to Breathwork
Breathwork is a powerful practice and has some contraindications (a condition where a practice is not recommended).
If any of the following conditions are relevant to you, please email me at noomabreathwork@gmail.com before purchasing a ticket. I may be able to offer a modified breathing technique or offer alternative options.
Pregnancy, a family history of, have or suspect you have any medical conditions such as, but not being limited to epilepsy, some psychiatric condition/s, cardiovascular disease including angina/acute heart conditions/arrhythmia/previous heart attack, epilepsy, strokes and/or seizures, glaucoma/detached retina, severe asthma, osteoporosis, kidney disease, aneurysm of any kind/uncontrolled diabetes/thyroid condition, high blood pressure (not controlled with medication)/recent surgery, stitches or injury – particularly involving the brain, mouth, teeth, nose, throat, thyroid, immune system, lymphatic system, lungs, chest, ribs, spine, neck and/or reproductive organs/any other medical, psychiatric or physical condition/s which could impair or affect your ability to engage in any activities that involve a deep physical and/or emotional experience.
If you have mild to moderate asthma, you may participate if you bring your inhaler to the breathwork session.
You will not be able to participate if under the influence of any substances, including alcohol or plant medicine.

Inclusivity Statement
Breathwork is an inclusive practice for anyone seeking to enhance their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. This is R18 workshop is open to anyone from all backgrounds.
Ticket Policy: Non Refundable
Tickets are non-refundable. However there is the flexibility to transfer your ticket to another person up to 24 hours before the event. To facilitate the transfer, please email me with your order number.
Breathwork Safety
Breathwork (or breath holds that can cause light-headedness) must never be practiced when driving or operating machinery. Breathwork or breath holds must never be practiced in extreme hot or cold temperatures or in water (including bath tubs, showers, spas, pools, ocean, saunas, ice baths and any other body of water not mentioned here) or in any other place or environment where it might be dangerous to faint. Breathwork or breath holds must never be practiced when working with sharp objects or partaking in any other potentially hazardous activity including immediately following a breathwork session. It may take some time to ground and integrate so please plan accordingly.
