PK Presents: An aspec perspective on dating and finding a partner

A discussion from the perspective of two neurospicy and aspec therapists regarding dating and looking for partners. We will cover topics such as aspec/allo relationship experience, nonmonogamy related to dating/partnerships, what comes up in therapy spaces, differentiated attraction, and what caring your mental health means for dating. We will be speaking from lived and professional experience, and with intersectionality in mind. We are likely to nerd out about the overlap between neurodivergence, asexuality, relationships, and kink.

Presenter Bio

Heidi (any pronouns) is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in Washington State. They graduated from Capella University with their MS in 2024. Heidi previously held a career in medical healthcare before burning out and returning to graduate school to focus on mental health.

Heidi is passionate about care for neurodiverse and queer clients, and works to balance care and activism for these communities with self care.
