Experience the 7th PORCH BLUES event! Held at this historic venue, set amongst the streets of a bygone era. Located in Caboolture – less than an hour's drive from Brisbane or Sunshine Coast. NOTE: Food and drinks are BYO.

We have three top class artists together, bringing you their best for an afternoon of live blues music!:

• FÉLIX REY –1:00pm to 2:00pm
This hidden gem of a Blues duo who hail from the South, are treating us with a trip up to QLD for Porch Blues, and are not to be missed! Experience the upbeat and hypnotic grooves inspired by Mississippi Hill Country Blues greats like R.L. Burnside and Lightnin’ Hopkins. The Félix Rey duo features Amir on harp/vocals, and Julian on guitar. With excellent musicianship on display and heart and soul in every performance, get ready to "shake 'em on down” on The Porch!

• ZED CHARLES – 2:00pm to 3:00pm
The brainchild, face and host of the Porch Blues series, Zed recently hit top of the Australian Blues & Roots Airplay chart, with an impressive debut at No 2, on the release of his new solo, multi-instrumental album "Hear My Word”. A renowned Blues guitarist/vocalist with a style that blends fingerpicking and slide techniques, Zed brings an energetic, engaging stage presence that oozes charisma. The Zed Charles live experience is not to be missed.

• TIM GRIFFIN – 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Now residing in tropical Townsville FNQ, Tim has entertained audiences Australia-wide and internationally, earning numerous accolades over his 30-year music journey. As a previous BASEQ Blues Challenge winner in 2013, Tim represented that Brisbane and Southeast Qld Blues Association at the 2014 International Blues Challenge in Memphis USA. Tim joins us on The Porch for the first time, to display his awesome talent as an entertaining storyteller, guitarist and vocalist, evoking the spirit and the showmanship that is the Blues.

• ARTISTS JAM - 4:00pm to 5:00pm A fabulous mix of talent join together onstage to bring us an unmissable set.

NOTE: Short breaks will be scheduled between acts to allow for changeovers.

• Event finish – 5:00pm

CAR: Easy access from the M1. Less than 1 hour's drive from Brisbane or Sunshine Coast.
PARKING: Free onsite parking.
TRAIN: Caboolture Station - 3km from the venue, with taxis out front.
BUS: Courtesy bus will be offering a single pick up/drop off service at Caboolture Station.

Q: Can I bring my own chair to the venue?
A: No – Chairs are provided for both indoor and outdoor areas. To avoid overcrowding, please do not bring any seating with you.

Q: Is the event weather dependent?
A: No – Unless there is a severe weather warning, the event will still proceed rain, hail or shine.

Q: Is this event under cover?
A: The main event space is undercover – however, attendees can enjoy the music from the outdoor open spaces. Please come prepared for weather conditions and pack hats/sunscreen/umbrella in case you may need them.

Q: Are ticket refunds offered?
A: No – All ticket sales are final with no refund policy. You may transfer/gift your tickets to friends or family if you are unable to attend personally.

Q: What time do doors open?
A: Attendees for PORCH BLUES may arrive at "The Hotel" venue from around 12:00pm midday, prior to the 1:00pm music start time by showing their paid ticket for entry. No entry to venue prior to midday.

Q: Can I visit the historical village with my event ticket purchase?
