We are again realising the strength in women gathering together in a circle. The time together is extremely therapeutic and nourishing. We get to connect with other women, hear their journey and be heard, feel supported, and importantly laugh or cry without any judgment. It's like a secret sister gathering of wellness and acceptance.

In the 20 years of working with Pregnant women, in therapy, movement, and breathwork I thought to myself, why have I not offered this before? Why are there not circles for Mums-to-be?

So that was the start of a regular circle being held on the Gold Coast for pregnant women. So, what would it look like to attend a pregnancy sister circle?

When I was pregnant with my first baby I was part of a group led by a midwife, we would meet as a group throughout the pregnancy and hear each other's baby's heartbeats, talk about the journey and understand how to prepare for many things that will arrive in parenting. What I gained from this was support, life long friendship, and confidence in my ability to birth and beyond.

This circle offers support, guidance, relaxation, guided meditation and to talk about any fears without judgment.

Be seen, be heard, learn coping techniques and feel supported. Imagine meeting lifelong friends with other women all in the same journey of life, and feel like you have people around you that understand you before your baby arrives?

Supporting and working with pregnant women has been a 20-year mission for me, as well as being a mum of two daughters, I understand the journey. I understand the joy, the excitement, the fear and the ups and downs through pregnancy. I offer you the opportunity to connect with other women just like you, I will guide you as a group to feel supported, understand how to relax more, to be able to meet a birth / parenting professional at each circle, to understand the power of your breath, to be led through a guided meditation.
