Kaya,

My name is Ciara and I am a Vinyasa and Prenatal yoga teacher. I am a Mum of two little humans, Seán and Sadie-May who light up my world.

As a yoga teacher and a mother, I passionately believe in empowering women.
I believe this empowerment is crucial for a positive birth experience.
This is the aim of my prenatal yoga class. I hope you can join me.

Who is this class for:
• This class will provide a welcoming environment for every pregnant person, first time mums or returning mums who value a supportive and nurturing environment on their pregnancy journey.
• You will have the opportunity to connect with other women in a calm and supportive environment.

Why do prenatal yoga?

Prenatal yoga helps to support your changing body. During pregnancy, change is
accelerated and your body can need help adjusting and accommodating. Yoga during pregnancy offers women ways to stretch and strengthen their muscles to support their growing belly.

Core, abdominal and pelvic muscles are all-important during pregnancy. Keeping these areas toned and functioning helps the birth process and recovery afterwards.

Prenatal yoga improves muscle tone and leads you to understand where tension is held in your body. This allows you to practice simple breathing techniques to release and let go of tension, which will allow for a smoother and more positive birth experience.

Regularly attending prenatal yoga classes is an act of self-care and a reminder to let go of busyness and bond with your developing baby. As your belly grows, yoga will help you learn and appreciate the amazing work your body is doing.

About this course:
• Journey to Birth is here to prepare your body and mind and emotions for birth and motherhood.
• The prenatal classes are composed of a series of exercises that will help your body to cope with the huge changes going on and prepare for the birth of your baby / babies.
• Encompassing elements of meditation and hypnobirthing
• Each week we will focus on strength work, optimal maternal positioning, helping you prepare both mentally and physically for childbirth and motherhood.
• All encourage strength and releasing movements, while creating space and nurture for your growing baby.
• Each flow offers empowered breath techniques to calm your system and prepare for birth.
• Stretches improve circulation while deep breathing and mindfulness exercises can ease the emotional ups and downs pregnancy brings.
• We will come together in circle and provide information on all things pregnancy, birth, doulas, midwives and everything else pregnancy and birth related.

Class Duration:

• This 5 week series supports women and empowers them to create a deeper
connection with themselves and baby.

• Cost: $110 per 5 week series.
