HERVEY BAY Preventing Vicarious and Cumulative Trauma - For Staff & Frontline Workers

For Community Service workforce working in frontline service delivery in the eligible locations (Hinkler Electorate).

Will work with frontline service delivery workers to: 

• Explore different types of exposures to PTEs
• Understand protective factors, risk factors and early warning signs of impact
• Practical strategies before, during and after exposure to minimise exposure, prevent harm and enhance posttraumatic growth
• Trauma-informed workplace principles and how to provide trauma-informed support and case study application
• Escalation pathways within the sector and community and building your own wellbeing action plan

To be eligible for a free place:

• You must work in a frontline service delivery role in the Community Sector

• Must be based in Bundaberg, Childers, Hervey Bay or Howard areas

• Must commit to letting us know ASAP if you cannot attend.
