Public Skills Australia is delivering an important initiative to review and update the Auslan, Interpreting, and Translating Training Qualifications. This vital project seeks to align these qualifications with the evolving needs of students, professionals, and Auslan users, ensuring relevance now and into the future.

We invite training providers of the Auslan, Interpreting, and Translating Qualifications to participate in the Auslan Education Experience Consultative Workshop. This workshop will convene key stakeholders, industry professionals, education providers, educators, trainers, education support staff, and both past and current students in a collaborative and inclusive environment. Together, we will address challenges and barriers within the interpreting industry and explore opportunities for meaningful improvements.

Your insights and expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping updates to these qualifications to meet the needs of both the community and the industry.

The workshop will be held in person, with refreshments provided, including morning tea and lunch for all attendees. To ensure accessibility and inclusivity, Auslan Interpreters will be available to support the discussions.
