QATA AGM 2026

Join QATA members, friends and colleagues to hear Jemima Wyman discuss her retrospective exhibition at QUT followed by the QATA AGM and light refreshments.  Wyman has been included in the second edition Creative Inquiry: Visual Art for Queensland Senior Secondary Students and will talk to their exhibition Deep Surface. While she currently lives and works in LA, Jemima grew up in regional Queensland and her art practice extends across varying disciplines including installation, video, performance, photography and painting. Wyman makes works that utilise these mediums to specifically focus on the visually based resistance strategies employed within protest culture and zones of conflict.

At the AGM all executive positions will be declared vacant. We always love to see new faces and welcome our regulars. Be sure to nominate if you would like to be more involved through an official QATA position. Among other benefits of being involved in your professional association, it’s a fabulous way of capturing evidence for a Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher application.

Download the 2026 QATA AGM Agenda and 2025 QATA AGM Minutes or nominate for a position here: https://qata.qld.edu.au/about-qata/minutes-agendas/

Please register your attendance for catering purposes as we'll be supplying refreshments. Parking on campus is limited. We encourage you to access public transport to the venue or allow additional time for parking nearby.

Not in Brisbane? Please select online when you register.

We're looking forward to a big catch up with everyone! We’d particularly like to hear from teachers outside the metro area and find out how you would like QATA to support you, teachers in your area, and your students.
