Radio Roo: Stories Unplugged is a playful stage production inspired by the golden age of radio drama. Set inside a live radio studio, the show reveals a series of scripted radio play vignettes, with the Blue Roo Ensemble bringing their stories to life through voice, sound effects and performance, all in full view of the audience, blending humour, heart and old-fashioned theatrical magic.

An interactive Q&A with the cast and crew follows each performance, a treat not to be missed!

Blue Roo Theatre Company Inc.® is a Brisbane-based not-for-profit independent production company, connecting the disability community with the performing arts. Each production is unique, with lots of fun, humour and music woven around our disability advocacy message. Their performers, living with disabilities, delight and inspire audiences of all ages.

Accessibility Information: This production is suitable for wheelchair users and provides accessible seating for wheelchairs. Wheelchair parking is available. The production is signed by an Auslan interpreter. A quiet area is available at the venue and will be open throughout the performance. Assistance dogs are welcome, and seating options are provided.

The 'Pass It On' Campaign

(Much more than booking your seats for the show!)

Please consider contributing to the "Donation" option. When you donate a ticket, Blue Roo will "pass it on" to somebody who cannot afford to attend the show, supporting those struggling to attend as audience members. A donation also sustains Blue Roo's vision for the artistic development and leadership of people living with disability to create a different health, social, confidence and employment future of their choosing.
