Event description

Come along on a Rainforest Connections Walk at Daintree Siesta.

Experience the Daintree Rainforest - the oldest continuous tropical rainforest in the world - from another perspective.
Time in nature and Forest Therapy, also known as shinrin-yoku or Forest Bathing, has been shown to promote wellness and connection to nature, self and others.

On this facilitated group forest therapy walk - led by Tamara Scenna, the first certified Forest Therapy guide in the Daintree - you will slow down and take time to engage with the awe-inspiring sights, sounds, smells and textures of the forest. During the 2 hour walk you will find yourself immersed in the forest as you wander on the walking tracks in this special place and reconnect with the natural world around you. Participants will take part in a range of invitations at different points of the walk which will conclude with a sharing of Tea Under the Trees.

We look forward to welcoming both tourists and locals on this experience, which will provide a different way to connect with the ancient forest and create memories, and stay with you once you leave.

For those with any special needs please contact us to discuss as the walk can be adapted for most participants.

Minimum of two people and maximum of eight per walk. Private bookings also available on request.

Ticket price includes contribution to revegetation at Daintree Siesta.
