Rotarians 4 Planetary Health
Event description
On Monday 22 September Greater Blue Mountains Rotary and the Planetary Health Initiative launched Rotarians 4 Planetary Health. We're building on the collaborative work we've done over the last three years with our workshops on how to use tools and upcycle fashion, the Pollinator Program and local storytelling. We will initially meet fortnightly on the second and fourth Monday of the month as we develop focus areas that include expanding our local Skill Share program, building community resilience, prioritising strategies for disaster risk reduction, and expanding community media. We're bringing together caring and committed local people, keen to accelerate urgent action for Planetary Health, and doing it in a way that we hope can be scaled globally.
Dinner and refreshments are available from the Planetary Health 'Cafe'. Contact Lis if you'd like more information by texting 0407 437553 or emailing planetaryhealth@bmcc.nsw.gov.au
