National Recycling Week - Albury Waste Management Centre Tour

Celebrate National Recycling Week with a free tour of the Albury Waste Management Centre.

Have you ever wondered what happens to your waste when it leaves the kerb? Do you want to know more about how recycling works in the local Halve Waste area?

The tour provides a behind-the-scenes look into Albury's award-winning waste management facility. You'll discover how materials from local households and businesses are processed and learn why it's so important to place items in the right bin. 

After the site tour, participants are invited to join us for a complimentary morning tea and interactive recycling session to discover what we recycle, why we recycle and where our recycling goes.

Enclosed footwear is required for the Tour and bookings are essential. Pick up is from outside Lavington library at 9:30am and return to library will be at approximately 12:30pm.
