School Holiday Program 2 - Indoor Rock Climbing & Nature Adventures
Event description
The Outdoors is calling! The team at FNQ Nature Quest will support your children these school holidays to learn how to rock climb indoors before heading outside for the second part of the day to immerse themselves in nature play via nature craft, a creek hop, cubby building and some mindful moments in hammocks. As we come to the end of term and look forward to having a break from school over the holidays this is a great opportunity to get your kids out and about by engaging in imaginative play in nature. Our skilled team of accredited climbing instructors and playworkers will support your children during the half and full day of adventure, play, and exploration in the Redlynch Rainforest and indoor climbing gym at The Northern Outlook outdoor education centre.
This program is for school aged children of varied ages. Children are to be dropped off and signed in at the large undercover area opposite the main car park and to be signed out and collected from the same place at either 12pm or 3pm. Children must be able to function well and independently in a group setting as we are able to offer limited individual support. Please call us to discuss your child’s specific needs if you have concerns around their support needs to ensure the wellbeing of them and all participants. Participants should also be comfortable playing around water in a shallow creek.
