The AGM is open for all Scottish section members and not restricted to those on the Barley Walk. Please note that the AGM will be in-person only with no Zoom/Teams access.

Established in 1886, we are the world's leading professional body for brewers, distillers and allied professionals. This was recognised by the grant of the Royal Charter in 2023, which has led to us transitioning to the Chartered Institute of Brewers and Distillers (CIBD) on 1st January 2025. As the CIBD, we are committed to building on the legacy of the institute and to make our products and services more relevant to the drinks industry.

CIBD events are professional environments. Where alcohol is served or tasting forms part of the programme, Members and Fellows must conduct themselves in a manner that maintains the dignity of the Institute and the profession.
