UPDATE: The date for the Senior Heats has changed due to a clash with the Debating Calendar. It is now Friday July 21st 2023. All other details remain the same. Submissions for entry close one week before the Heat date. 

PLEASE NOTE: If your school would like to pay for the student attendees, please email us at  publicspeaking@esu.org.au FIRST to arrange for a school invoice. Payment must be received one week before the first heat. 

TICKETS FOR AUDIENCE MEMBERS ARE FREE ONLY COMPETITORS NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET FOR PARTICIPATION.

The English Speaking Union is an organisation dedicated to empowering the voices of our next generation. Our annual Secondary School Public Speaking Competition for SE QUEENSLAND 2023 commences in May and we are encouraging students to compete. This competition is held by the English Speaking Union which has three divisions: Junior, Intermediate and Senior.
