This is a powerful addition to Breathwork to set intensions and drop even deeper into your inner landscape, connecting and opening the heart and third eye...a beautiful combination to bring in healing and love.

The Blue Lotus has been used for its psychoactive properties in different ancient cultures, including Egyptian, Mayan, and Indian civilisations.

In ancient Egypt, the Blue Lotus was known as the "sacred narcotic lily of the Nile" and was associated with the sun god Ra and the afterlife. It was often used in religious ceremonies, as well as for its medicinal and psychoactive properties.

In modern times, some people have revived the use of Blue Lotus in ceremonial contexts for its relaxing and mildly euphoric effects. It is sometimes brewed into tea or smoked as a herbal supplement.

GENERAL PREP FOR THE SESSION

Please bring along anything that will make you feel warm and cosy, no tight clothing and bring water for afterwards!

Bring along your yoga mat or something to lie on and a blanket for warmth and comfort. I recommend not eating 2 hours beforehand and eating light natural foods that day is also recommended, come hydrated but it's best not to drink too much just the journey.
