    Event description

    Greetings Biodiversiteers,

I’m just back from the land of the hot dog – they are delicious – and thought I’d take a moment to write and tell you about our November Field Day.

But I’m going to keep this short so, until next time…

    Cheers,

    Geoff H

P.S  Said Field Day will be on Sunday 3 November from 9.00am bells at Koomilya vineyard on Amery Road (off Kays Road) where we’ve been before so you’ll probably know all about it and where we are going to pull out weeds around the young plants we’ve already put in and kill any olives that catch our eye and chat amongst ourselves about what eminently sensible clothing we are all wearing for undertaking such arduous and dirtifying work and then when we’re close to being but aren’t yet quite completely tired and shagged out we’ll stop working and have something to chow down on – chilli chihuahua anyone? – and something else to wash it all down with as we stand back and admire the marvellous job we’ve done at this site since we first espied its dastardly olively bedecked creek line that was once a cause of so much angst but is so no more because it’s now a beacon of hope that maybe the world isn’t such a bad place after all even if a lot of it is being run by a bunch of lunatics but we don’t care because we just get on with doing what we do down here in our part of the world and after all is said and done and the final bell is rung what more can you be doing to be sure?

    I hope that’s all clear.

You can register your intention to signal your intended attendance by punching the Register Button below which will cause you to be registered which we always appreciate. And it feels great when you do it. As does registering your intention.

There’s probably something else I was supposed to tell you but I’ve forgotten what it was. Or who I am.

See you there and go well in the meantime…
