Event description

Please bring a yoga mat and a pillow for comfort if you you want to :)

The  instruments Jake uses for his sound journey's include the Didgeridoo, Ngoni, Drums and Flutes these Instruments can stimulate the alpha and theta brain wave frequencies associated with meditative, clear, and peaceful states of mind.

The didgeridoo has been shown to be one of the only instruments studied so far to create hyper gamma vibrational frequency brainwaves. Gamma waves have been associated with greater happiness and receptivity. Gamma brain waves may also help people with learning differences as the brain is more able to resonate with more synchronicity and cohesion.

A slow drum beat mimicking a heart beat at around 5 hertz is often used by ancient cultures like drumming beats used by shamanic healers to change brainwaves into the theta state which has been used for many years to  access expanded states of consciousness. Jake will usually use a drum to drop people into the theta state at the start of a sound  journey and then to bring people back at the end. These states are considered the gateway to the subconscious mind and it's here where we experience heightened creativity, depth of imagination, and access to the subconscious realms where deep-seated healing can take place.

Sound healing can boost creativity, ease stress levels, ease moodiness, anxiety and mind loops, support out of body experiences, improve overall mood and well-being, promote connection to inner joy, improve energy levels, boost confidence and self love, create deep relaxation, lower blood pressure and improve sleep.
