Stained Glass Mosaic Butterfly Suncatcher Workshop

Duration: 3 hours
Skill level: Beginner friendly (no experience required)

Join mosaic artist Catherine Conaty for a relaxed and creative 3-hour workshop where you’ll design and make your own stained glass mosaic butterfly suncatcher.

In this hands-on session, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the process of creating a small mosaic artwork using colourful (safe to handle) tumbled stained glass. You’ll choose from a beautiful selection of glass and explore colour, texture, and composition to create a piece that sparkles beautifully in the light.

This workshop is designed to be accessible, mindful, and enjoyable, with plenty of individual support. By the end of the session, you’ll have a completed butterfly suncatcher ready to take home and hang in a window or special spot.

What’s included:

All materials (stained glass, base, adhesives, grout)
Use of tools
Step-by-step instruction and guidance
A finished butterfly suncatcher to take home
Light refreshments

What to bring:

Enclosed shoes
Reading glasses if you use them
