    Event description

Rider Levels 3 and 4:  Novice and Intermediate Riders

Camp Focus: HAVE FUN / Developing Control / Handling / Awareness / Group Riding / Ride Off-Site

This camp is designed for those who know how to pedal but need to develop better handling, situational control, and work on skills-specific drills to become super confident riders. Our courses include traffic lights, stop signs, various obstacles and, of course, the tunnel of mist where riders learn to control their bike and their emotions in challenging situations. Riders will have a fun time practicing positive control of their bicycles, quick decision-making, riding environment assessments, group ride etiquette, and conquering simple obstacles.  We do all of this in the safety of a parking lot. If everyone is feeling stable and confident, we’ll leave site and hit the trails together. Kids will often repeat this class several times. It's fun, we cover a lot of ground, and some kids need more time behind the handlebars to really feel confident.

*** If your child has special needs, please contact us (# below) to discuss options that will offer appropriate support for your child’s success.
