To celebrate Wattle Day and the arrival of Spring on 1 September May Gibbs' Nutcote is offering special Wattle High Teas on Saturday 2 September and Sunday 3 September. 

Ticket prices include entry to the museum and a guided tour of the cottage. High Teas will be served on the undercover terrace between 11:30am and 1:30pm. You can take a tour before or after High Tea depending on timing.

Each High Tea* includes a selection of freshly made finger sandwiches, two of our delicious homemade scones with jam and cream, sweet treats including a special wattle themed cupcake and your choice of our range of Queen Victoria teas. $60pp

Children can enjoy our special Wattle Day Tea*. Menu includes a cheese sandwich, wattle themed cupcake, cookie and juice. Available for children under ten. $25pp

*Vegetarian and gluten free options available on request.

Nutcote is open to the public 11am - 3pm.

Nutcote is the beautiful harbourside home and garden of May Gibbs (1877-1969), Australia’s foremost children’s author and illustrator and best known today for her iconic story, The Complete Adventures of Snugglepot & Cuddlepie. Both the house and the garden have been restored so you can experience how May lived and worked at Nuctote in the 1920's.
