In Syria, food is a language of love, generosity, and togetherness. Much like the Christmas table, it’s where stories are shared, hands come together, and hearts are warmed.
Join this special hands-on brunch class and discover two dishes that capture the heart of Syrian hospitality and the joy of festive gatherings.
What You’ll Experience:
Harra’a Be Esba’o.
🌿 Known as “Burn Your Finger,” this hearty, nourishing Levantine dish is packed with lentils, garlic, coriander, tamarind, pomegranate molasses fried bread. It’s a completely vegetarian meal that’s perfect for cooler weather, yet so vibrant and refreshing it can be enjoyed cold during summer.
💎 Basmashkat – “The Sewn Jewels of Levantine Cuisine,” a dish once reserved for weddings and festive occasions in old Damascus. Racha will guide you through each recipe, sharing the stories, memories, and cultural traditions that make Syrian food so meaningful. After cooking, you’ll gather around the table to enjoy your creations in a warm, communal brunch — a moment of joy, connection, and celebration before Christmas.
