Te Wiki Āhua o Aotearoa - Rot & Reverence
Event description
Te Wiki Āhua o Aotearoa FW25
The system is broken. The promises that were made to us are no longer being kept. We were promised that studying hard and working harder would secure a future worth having. But no matter how many jobs we obtain or how qualified we are, we’re all barely staying afloat.
Creatives refuse to work for conglomerates that care more about turning profits than cultivating the arts. This leaves us the margins and footnotes of every conversation - and we left a lot unsaid in our past show week.
This March’s Te Wiki Āhua o Aotearoa FW25 continues to focus on promoting and platforming emerging and early career artists from all areas of Aotearoa’s creative scene.

Rot & Reverence
An evening of transformative design, where time's touch reveals unexpected beauty. "Rot and Reverence" explores the delicate balance between decay and splendor, embracing the poetry found in the aged, discarded, and forgotten. This collection reimagines disintegration as a canvas of possibility, inviting us to see grace in what fades, and meaning in what evolves.
Join designers Zodiac Street, Abby Santilian, Junes Cry, Foolish, Billy by Billy, and Milo Matchitt as they guide us through an immersive journey—celebrating decay as a source of legacy and beauty.
Witness fashion redefined, where the broken becomes the sublime.
