Event description
Learn to write compelling stories drawn from real life
This short course is the perfect introduction to creative nonfiction writing. Held over 6 weeks, these workshops will guide you to develop five short stories and experiment with different styles.
Discover what it is you want to write about while learning the elements of good storytelling. You’ll unpack your writing fears, explore how to approach truth-telling in creative ways and learn practical tips from an experienced writer.
Along with readings and discussion, each week you’ll learn different literary techniques and have the chance to workshop your writing in a supportive space. Classes are kept small to ensure everyone receives individual feedback from Adrienne.
By the end of the course, you will have formed valuable relationships with other writers and gained confidence to keep writing.
