The Knowledge Project Community Workshop
Event description
The Knowledge Project Workshop
Join us at the City Library to explore The Knowledge Project, an inspiring initiative designed to bridge gaps in understanding of Kaurna history, culture, and language.
Supported by a three-year Strategic Partnerships grant from the City of Adelaide, Kuma Kaaru, in collaboration with Nucleus, has brought this vision to life. Over the past year, they’ve launched the Knowledge Project Website and unveiled the first two videos Modern History and Spirituality. These resources offer accessible and engaging content to spark meaningful, informed conversations between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Australians.
Led by Jack Buckskin, founder of Kuma Kaaru Cultural Services, the workshops will provide a unique opportunity to connect with Jack in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment. Participants can ask questions, gain insights, and contribute to shaping the next phase of this project. Feedback from these workshops will be used to inform the development of additional videos for the next stage of the project. Join us and be part of this journey toward deeper cultural understanding and connection.
