This course is aimed at making the class member aware of the various methods of developing skill in drawing regardless of the subject.
Tony teaches on a “ shape recognition “ basis where the structure of items being drawn can be derived form the use of six basic shapes and their inclusion in the formation of the drawing.. Initially, we work in pencil and this ultimately helps when we progress to tonal studies ( light and shade).
The course deals with the use of perspective, whether it's linear or aerial to introduce three dimensionality to the subject.
Tony provides reference material and hands on sample work to be followed.
We deal with composition of subject matter, shapes, tones, all of which can e used in the develpment of artwork in any medium.
This is designed to develop confidence and understanding of the aspects of drawing which can sometimes be a hurdle to development of the artist.. and tools. Request the list of materials.
