Monthly Tai Chi-informed Dance Workshops

Choreographers and dancers in residence Jiawen and Carmen are running monthly movement workshops from February to July 2025
Integrating body movement influenced by tai chi and their new contemporary dance work Texture of Absence, the workshops will be a gentle and calming experience suitable for all ages. No former experience required.
Sessions will begin on Saturday Feb 8th, then the first Saturday of the month from March 1st to July 5th and run from 10:30am- 12:00pm
Carmen Yih was a successful applicant for the performance EOI through Platform Arts and will premiere the original presentation of Texture of Absence at the Platform Arts Performance Space on July 11-12 2025.
