Mistake Maker : The Great Comic Escape, Ages 6+, $80

Every great story starts with a problem! In this 3-hour Mistake Maker intensive, young artists will design their own original character—be it a human, animal, or alien—and plunge them into a 4-quadrant comic adventure.

We’ll explore the "What Size is Your Problem?" scale, illustrating the difference between a minor glitch and a giant obstacle. Kids will learn to draw "Emotion Clouds" and "Stuck Thoughts," before sketching out brave strategies to keep their character moving forward. By the end of the session, students will have a finished comic strip, a clay model of their hero, and a toolkit of life skills to handle any real-life "plot twists" with confidence.

Note: if your child is 5 and a half and is able to work independently with minimal supervision they are welcome to attend.

Group Discount:  When you round up the crew and book 3 or more tickets to this workshop, you’ll automatically receive $10 off each ticket. No codes necessary, the discount will be applied automatically when you select 3 or more tickets.

If you sign your child up for both a morning and afternoon workshop on the same day, we'll supervise them during the lunch break. Providing a full day of creative fun between classes at no extra charge. Simply book both a morning and afternoon session, pack their lunch, and we'll take care of the rest!
