Speakers 

Dr Tim Williams

A leader in urban policy, public-private partnerships and major infrastructure and transport projects in Australia and the UK, former CEO of the Committee for Sydney, currently Principal and Head of Cities for ARUP Australasia and Chair of Open Cities, focusing on next generation infrastructure and the circular economy.

Geoff Brailey 

Geoff Brailey is a social researcher, strategic advisor and Lead Solution Designer at the internationally recognised McCrindle.

With post-graduate qualifications in leadership and extensive experience in managing people, Geoff excels in how organisations can effectively engage diverse and intergenerational teams. His understanding of the breadth of our research solutions allows him to assist clients right from the initial briefing to the final presentation. 

Angus Gordon

Angus is a Senior Development Manager in GPT’s Retail and Mixed Use Development team. Currently, he’s working on the master planning and expansion of Rouse Hill Town Centre. In the 9 and a half years he has been with GPT, Angus has worked on the master planning and divestment of GPT’s landholding in Newcastle, the expansion of Highpoint Shopping Centre in Melbourne and the master planning for a new town centre in Sydney Olympic Park. Previously he has worked with Goodman Group, Mirvac and Multiplex. Angus has a Bachelor of Building in Construction Economics and Master of Business in Finance. 

Sonja Palic

Sonja Palic is the first female chairman of the Sydney Hills Business Chamber and is a Board Member of the Australian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce. Sonja is a co-author of “Think Big”, inspirational stories of other thought leaders and their success. She is passionate about Business, the Building and Construction industry and especially about Women in Leadership and the ever changing roles and challenges that present themselves today. She has been a business owner for over  25years and is Co-Owner of Entrax Commercial Interior Fitouts with her husband.

Dave Moreton (MC) 

Dave Moreton is a Regional General Manager in GPT’s retail division, overseeing the daily operations, strategic development, marketing, leasing and development at Rouse Hill Town Centre in Sydney, and Charlestown Square in the Hunter region. 

He has held this role for the five years he has been at The GPT Group, and prior to this was a Centre Manager and Management Executive at Scentre Group, formerly Westfield.

Dave has extensive experience in the retail sector, having previously spent time as a Divisional Manager at Bonds, and as the Commercial Director for the Lee (Jeans) brand in the UK and Ireland.

Dave has a Bachelor of Marketing from the University of Hertfordshire and is also the Chairperson leading the Property Council of Australia Retail Committee.
